FDA has prepared hundreds of sets of roadway construction plans over the past 24 years for various clients and agencies throughout Florida.
All roadway plans are designed to closely adhere to the current editions of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Plans Preparation Manuals (PPM), Design Standards, Specifications, and other standards required by the client.
Notable Projects:

Interstate Interchange Modifications (Florida Department of Transportation District's One and Two): Managed and prepared roadway construction plans to improve interchange operations at the SR 26, SR 64, Jones Loop Road and Colonial Boulevard Interchanges with I-75. Numerous ramps at each of the interchanges were modified to improve traffic flow and eliminate backups onto I-75.

US 19 From Jump Court to CR 44 (Florida Department of Transportation District Seven): This section of US 19 is within Citrus County and begins just north of Homosassa Springs and extends just beyond the limits of the City of Crystal River in a rapidly developing corridor. We managed and prepared roadway construction plans to improve an existing four lane rural roadway to a six lane rural roadway for a total project length of 4.7 miles. Both reconstruction and widening of the existing roadway is planned with unique typical sections designed to minimize construction costs by re-use of the existing pavement. Right-of-way acquisition is planned for eleven stormwater detention ponds.

I-275 Concrete Rehabilitation (Florida Department of Transportation District Seven): Managed and prepared roadway construction plans to rehabilitate the existing concrete pavement and the installation of median guardrail. The project extended from 26th Avenue South to 5th Avenue South and included a portion of I-175 for a total project length of 2.1 miles.
