US 301 from CR 675 to Moccasin Wallow Road, Manatee County, FDOT District 1
Our design increased the mobility and safety of all users by providing enhancements including reduced lane widths, mid-block pedestrian islands, minor streetscaping, entrance signing, and lighting. The project widened and reconstructed 1.2 miles of US 301 from a two-lane typical section with roadside swales and ditch bottom inlets to a five-lane urban undivided facility with 14’ outside curb lanes to accommodate bicycles.
